Naturally Vero Tweed is an 12 ply fingering yarn.
It is comprised of 90% Pure Wool, 6% Acrylic, 4% Viscose.
The tension is 16 Stitches and 22 Rows to 10 X 10 cm over stocking stitch on 5-6.00mm needles.
Ball size is 50gms with 80 metres per ball.
The feature of this yarn of course is its Variegated Colour style.
The variegation is a subtle progressive change through the length of the ball resulting in a subtle blending of the variegated colour through the length of the garment.
In addition there is a tweed effect added and it has a homespun style spin giving further feature to the yarn.
Vero Tweed is hand wash.
Dry flat in the shade
Can be cool ironed.
