Cleckheaton Vintage Hues does not have a ply as its tension does not match any.
It is comprised of 100% Wool.
It is however near 12 ply for an idea of gauge but is NOT 12 ply.
This Wool has a tension of 16 Stitches and 21 Rows to 10 X 10 cm over stocking stitch on 6.50mm needles.
Ball size is 50gms with 83 metres per ball.
The main feature of this Wool is the dyeing process. The Colour changes with a gentle flow of shade variation giving the garment a subtle variegated look.
Yarn is Hand wash, non-Tumble and non-Iron.
Can also be Dry Cleaned.
Dry flat in shade.
